This course offers a general introduction to medical helminthology, focusing on the biological principles, physical structures, and classification of parasitic worms. Learners will explore the complex life cycles of the three major helminth groups: cestodes, trematodes, and nematodes, while examining key therapeutic treatments, drug mechanisms, and integrated public health strategies used to control and prevent helminth infections in human populations.

Kursus MOOC Memahami Demensia memberikan pendedahan asas tentang demensia kepada masyarakat umum. Peserta akan mempelajari empat (4) modul merangkumi Pengenalan kepada demensia, Tahap dan diagnosis demensia, Penjagaan individu dengan demensia, serta strategi Pencegahan dan pengurangan risiko demensia.

Cara Pendaftaran adalah seperti berikut:

1. Rujuk Panduan untuk Orang Awam (Bukan Warga UKM) bagi menyertai kursus MOOC.

2. Daftar sebagai pengguna baharu dengan membuat akaun.

3. Lengkapkan semua maklumat yang diperlukan dan hantar permohonan. Satu mesej akan dipaparkan bagi memaklumkan bahawa e-mel pengesahan akan dihantar ke alamat e-mel anda.

4. Seterusnya, layari laman MOOC dan klik pada menu Help – Aduan MOOC.

5. Satu Borang Google akan dipaparkan. Sila isi semua maklumat yang diperlukan dengan butiran berikut:

   • Nombor Matrik: N/A

   • Fakulti: Others

6. Pada bahagian isu/aduan, sila nyatakan: Unable to log in / Authentication issues.

7. Hantar borang tersebut untuk diproses.

Setelah permohonan anda diluluskan, anda boleh log masuk ke platform MOOC dan seterusnya mendaftar (enrol) dalam kursus yang ingin diikuti.

We are thrilled to have you join this journey to learn effective nutritional counselling for diet and lifestyle change. This course is specifically designed to shift your perspective from being a traditional "expert" who simply gives instructions to becoming a collaborative "guide" who empowers clients into making diet and lifestyle changes. 

Course Description

This course is aimed to train students on dietetic counselling skills techniques.  Students will be exposed to CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and motivational interviewing. Diet and lifestyle change counselling will also be provided through a case study demonstration.

Duration

This course will be available for 6 weeks. Feel free to join at your own convenience.

This course is 1 credit hours.

The registration process is as follows:

1. Refer to the Guide for the Public (Non-UKM Members) to join the MOOC course.
2. Register as a new user by creating an account.
3. Complete all the required information and submit your application. A message will be displayed informing you that a confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address.
4. Next, visit the MOOC website and click on Help → MOOC Complaints.
5. A Google Form will be displayed. Please complete all the required information using the following details:
   • Matric Number: N/A
   • Faculty: Others
   • Under Issue/Complaint, please state: Unable to log in / Authentication issues.
6. Submit the form for processing.
7. Once your application has been approved, you may log in to the MOOC platform and then enrol in the course you wish to take.

Kursus ini memberi pendedahan dan membangunkan kemahiran peserta dalam aspek pengurusan rujukan bagi bahan penerbitan dan sumber maklumat yang dirujuk. Melalui penggunaan alat mengurus rujukan iaitu Mendeley pengguna dapat mengurus bibliografi dan sitasi dari pelbagai sumber semasa proses penyelidikan dan penulisan berlangsung dengan efisien. Kursus meliputi kaedah membina akaun, muat turun dan instalasi, mengetahui fitur Mendeley, menambah rujukan, mengurus library, membaca dan membuat anotasi pada dokümen, mengimport kandungan atas talian dan juga menjana sitasi serta bibliografi. Di akhir kursus peserta akan mengetahui fungsi Mendeley dan mengaplikasikan dalam tugasan mereka
